Teens has turned out to be much worse. The problems come from the top.
Chicago is a huge market. Owners Reinsdorf and Einhorn have money and, Third Base:
at times, are actually willing to spend it. But ownership is not committed Yoan Moncada (8.47) -      14
to winning. If they were, they would get a decent management team in there. Conor Gillaspie (1.34) -      8
Chicago hasn't had a top notch GM that could build a winner since Larry Himes  Todd Frazier (5) -  6

got rid of them despite their success. Outfield:
    Alex Rios (7.43) -      37
2010 - Chicago has a pretty good year at 88-74, but the team is old, especially Adam Eaton (15.29) -      33

  □ LHP - John Danks, 25, 9th overall pick in '03 draft by Texas, acquired in trade in '07  Chicago deals three of their best players Chris Sale, Jose Quintana,
and Adam Eaton as the first steps in the rebuild process,
2012 - Jose Quntana, 23, is picked up as an inexpensive free agent from the Yankees  Altho' it's really a build, actually, since re-build would imply that
there was something to rebuild from.
2012 - Lefty Francisco Liriano, 28, is picked up as a rental for the stretch run.   Sale is dealt to the Red Sox for four youngsters including two primo

2014 - OF Adam Eaton, 25, is picked up in a three team deal from Arizona  terrible teams like Kansas City and Detroit.
. Adam will turn into a pretty decent player for the Sox as he can hit some,
has a scoche of power, has a bit of speed and is a good defender.  2019 - This decade has been a disaster, a throwback to the Twenties,
Thirties and Forties when the Pale Hose were league doormats.
2014 - 1B Jose Abreu, 27, Cuban defector IFA who can hit a ton is signed.  They average 75 wins, never contend, never make the post season.
Great signing. GM Rick Hahn has been in the saddle for seven years with nothing
to show for it. Most owners, particularly ones in a large market
2015 - SS Alexi Ramirez, 33, leaves as a free agent. He had a nice run in Chicago with money, wouldn't be this patient.

2015 - OF Melky Cabrera, 29, is signed as a Free Agent 2019 - All the above being said, the Sox have been accumulating

Also Michael Koppech missed all of 2019 with Tommy John Surgery.
2015 - Reliever David Robertson, 30, is signed as a free agent The farm system also has several top prospects due to all of the high
draft picks that the White Sox have been getting with
2016 - SS Tim Anderson, 23, is a rookie. OF Luis Robert, 1B Andrew Vaughn and 2B Nick Madrigal
He was the 17th overall pick of the 2013 draft being the best of them.

2016 - In one of the worst deals in history, the Sox deal Fernando Tatis, 17,
to the Padres for RHP Jamie Shields, 34, at the trade deadline.
Shields will end up going 16-35 for Chicago in two and a half seasons.
