The starting rotation seems set. It's solid, but not great. Williams is really the only

Major blow to Cleveland last year when closer Emmanuel Clase was caught
fixing pitches for gamblers in the Dominican Republic. Luis Ortiz was also doing it.
It would be a shock if either one of these two appears ever again in organized
baseball. Meanwhile Cleveland always seems to be able to cobble together a
reasonably effective bullpen. Smith, Gaddis and Armstrong are solid and the
Guardians will cobble away with the rest of them.

Cleveland won the Division despite their offense which was a near bottom of the
league 79 runs less than the league average. You don't see too many teams
getting anywhere near .500 let alone winning a Division with those kinds of numbers.
There is one star, Jose Ramirez, and then a huge drop off. Don't see where the
offense is coming from this year either. The best they have after Ramirez are
guys you win in spite of having them in your lineup not because of.
