  □ RHP Chase Dollander, 24, '24 9th overall pick , '25 2-12 6.52 They have had three ninety plus win seasons and four post seaons appearances

  □ RHP Bradley Blalock, 25, '24 Trade from Milwaukee , '25 2-6 9,36 we are seeing with the Rockies - and it is not pretty.
The pitching was off the charts bad last season, even by Colorado standards,
as the Rockies gave up a whopping 301 runs over league average.
Colorado made a major move towards mediocrity late in the offseason
signing three legitimate middle/bottom of the rotation major league pitchers.
Tomoyoki Sugano from Baltimore, Michael Lorenzen from the Royals and
Jose Quintana from Milwaukee. Added to face of the franchise starter
Kyle Freeland and prospect Chase Dollander this actually gives the
Rockies a rotation where they have a chance to compete every game.

  Relief Pitchers:
  □ Closer RHP Seth Halvorsen, 26, '23 7th round pick, '25 1-2 4.99
  □ RHP Jimmy Herget, 32, '25 FA from Cubs, '25 1-2 2.48
  □ RHP Victor Vlodnik, 26, '23 Trade deadline from Atlanta, '25 4-3 3.02
  □ RHP Keegan Thompson, 31, '26 Trade from Twins, '24 Cubs 2-1 2.67
  □ RHP Brennan Bernardino, 34, '26 Trade from Boston, '25 4-3 3,14
  □ RHP Juan Mejia,25, '17 IFA , '25 2-2 3.96
  □ RHP RJ Petit, 26, '26 Rule 5 draft from Detroit , '25 AA-AAA 10-2 2.44
  □ RHP Pierson Ohl, 26, '26 Trade from Twins, '25 0-3 5.10
Not a very exciting bunch. RJ Petit from Detroit in the Rule 5 draft could be
a steal as a potential closer. A big six foot eight monster, he had gaudy
numbers in the minors for the Tigers last year. Odd he wasn't protected.
Other than that, Bernardino, Herget, Thompson, Mejia and Vlodnik look
  like they may be decent.

  □ 2B Adael Amador, 23, '21 IFA, '25 1 10 .177
  □ SS Ethan Holliday, 19, '25 draft 4th overall, '25 A 2 6 .239

  □ OF Charlie Condon, 23, '24 3rd overall pick, '25 AA 14 58 .268
  □ OF Zac Veen, 24, '20 1st round pick, '25 1 2 .118
The pitching, such as it is, is going to have to carry this club towards
mediocrity because the hitting sure won't.
Colorado scored 124 runs under the league average last year which is
remarkably bad considering Coors Field is a hitters paradise.
Unfortunately, not much quality was added in the off season.
C Hunter Goodman is the only good hitter on the team and should probably
be moved off of catcher to save his legs for hitting. There are four recent
first round picks floating around. Maybe there will be a breakthru:
OF Zac Veen '20; OF Jordan Beck '22; OF Charlie Condon '24 and
SS Ethan Holliday '25. There are some veterans who could be decent this
year: Oft injured 3B Kris Bryant; SS Ezequiel Tovar; OF Mickey Moniak and
CF Brenton Doyle. None of them are much above replacement level.
