  1990 - The Cubs come into the Nineties fresh off of a Division title. 1998 - Outfielder Doug Glanville is dealt to the Phillis for thirty two

  1993 - Greg Maddux bolts to the Braves in Free Agency.  1998 - Chicago picks up two veterans in August who provide a huge

  1997 - The Cubs begin an overhaul of their sorry team that hasn't 1998 - The Cubs win the wild card beating the Giants in a one game
