  RHP Jake Odorizzi, 21, the Brewers' first round pick in the 2008 draft,  Milwaukee turns it around and wins 86 games. Better still, this team is on the rise.

  2011 - The Brewers pick up ace closer Francisco Rodriguez, 29, from the    RHP - Zach Davies, 24, 17-9 3.90 - trade from Baltimore for Gerardo Parra in '15  
  Mets at the trade deadline for two youngsters. Rodriguez goes 4-0 with a     RHP - Jimmy Nelson, 28, 12-6 3.49 - 2nd round pick in '10  
  1.86 ERA in a setup role for closer John Axford.    RHP - Chase Anderson, 29, 12-4 2.74 - Traded from Arizona for Jean Segura in '16  
     Cl - Corey Knebel, 25, 1-4 1.78 39sv - Traded from Texas for Yovani Gallardo in '15  
  2011 - Also contributing to the Division title push in a big way were     LHP - Josh Hader, 23, 2-3 2.09 trade from Houston in '16 for Mike Fiers  
  Milwaukee's two superstar young sluggers Prince Fielder 38-120-.299    RHP - Jeremy Jeffress, 29, 4-0 3.65 trade from Texas at '17 trade deadline  
   and Ryan Braun's MVP worthy 33-111-.332.   
    2018 - The Brewers pitching staff takes a couple of major hits as Jimmy Nelson  
  2011 - All of this manuevering yields a Division title for Milwaukee and the  misses the season with a rotator cuff injury and Zach Davies is rendered

  2012 - Superstar Prince Fielder defects to Detroit in free agency. This is a  2018 - Milwaukee makes several significant additions before and during the season:

    2018 - The Brewers continue to progress. They gain ten games in the standings  
  2013 - The Brewers continue their decline. The trading away of five primo to gain a tie for the Division lead with the Cubs at the end of the season. They
