   leaves as a FA in '17   They nosedive on both offense and defense.   
     1B - Chris Davis, 24, 5th round pick in 2006, rookie in 2008, Offensively, they lost two big sticks, Cruz (Free agent) and Kinsler (trade),   
   dealt to Baltimore at 2011 trade deadline for Koji Uehara, 36 - one that got away  plus Moreland and Beltre suffer major power losses. Also, Prince  
     2B - Ian Kinsler, 28, 17th round pick in 2003.   Fielder, 30, who was acquired for Kinsler from Detroit, finally started   
   Dealt for Prince Fielder in 2013 paying the price for being severely overweight.  
    SS - Elvis Andrus, 21. obtained from Braves at 2007 trade deadline  On the mound, pretty much the whole staff battled arm problems   
   for Mark Teixeira  on top of losing closer Joe Nathan to free agency.   
    3B - Michael Young, 33, obtained at 2000 trade deadline from Toronto     
  for Esteban Loiaza  2015 - OF Joey Gallo, 21, is a rookie - he was a first round pick in the '12 draft  
    LF - Josh Hamilton, 29, obtained from Reds in 2008 for Edinson Volquez.     
   Josh is quite simply the best hitter in the game in 2010 2015 - CF DeLino DeShields, 22, is a rookie. A former 8th overall pick in the   
     RF - Nelson Cruz, 29, A late bloomer who continues to improve with age.  draft not too long ago in 2010 by Houston.  
   Was picked up from the Brewers in 2006 in a six player deal.   DeShields was picked up by Texas in the rule 5 draft.

    OF - David Murphy, 27, obtained at 2007 trade deadline from Boston,  2015 - Texas picks up ace lefty Cole Hamels, 31, from the Phillies in exchange  
   leaves as a FA in '14  for six players at the trade deadline.  
     C - Jarrod Saltalamacchia, 25,  obtained from Braves at 2007 trade   Hamels doesn't disappoint going 7-1 down the stretch and then follows that  
  deadline for Mark Teixeira. up with a 15-5 2016 as the ace of the staff.  Considering Hamels' quality,   
  Is dealt to Boston for three suspects at the 2010 trade deadline.  the deal is a steal for Texas. Hamels' hefty salary for the next four seasons  
     LHP - CJ Wilson, 29, 5th round pick in 2001.  had a lot to do with the lack of high quality competing offers for him -  
   Signs as FA with Anaheim in 2012.   an advantage of having a couple of oil billionaires owning your club. Texas wins  
     RHP - Colby Lewis, 30, 1st round pick in 1999 the Division, but is ousted in the first round of the playoffs by Toronto.  
    LHP - Derek Holland, 23, 25th round pick of 2006 draft  
    RHP - Matt Harrison, 24, obtained from Braves at 2007 trade deadline  2016 - OF Nomar Mazara, 21, is a rookie. He was an IFA in 2011.

  2018 - IF Jurickson Profar, 25, plays his first full season in the big leagues.  
  2011 - 3B Adrian Beltre, 32, is signed as a FA from Boston It was nice to see him play well after all of the adversity that had befallen  
    him injury-wise to this point in his career.  
  2011 -- C Mike Napoli, 29, is obtained from Toronto for Frank Francisco    
  2018 - Over a two year period, the Rangers have plummeted 28 games in the
